5 Things to Know: Blockbuster Closing, Bubba Rally, Crime Report

Here are five things to start off your Friday and weekend in Los Alamitos and Seal Beach:

1. The Los Alamitos Blockbuster, one of only a handful of locations left in Southern California, will close its doors come January after Blockbuster announced Wednesday it will shutter its remaining 300 stores across the country. The last day to rent at the Los Alamitos location is on Saturday.
2. A rally to save Seal Beach's Bubba the pig will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Seal Beach Pier. Find out more here.
