Seal Beach Police Hosting Anonymous Pill Disposal

Community members can safely dispose of unwanted and expired prescription drugs on Saturday, Oct. 26 at a drive-thru collection station at the Seal Beach Police Department.

Seal Beach police are encouraging community members to safely get rid of old, unwanted and expired prescription medications at a drive-thru collection site next week in Seal Beach.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Seal Beach Police Department, police and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will partner to host National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The collection is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

The drop-off location will be located at the Seal Beach Police Department with a drive-thru style collection station so community members won't have to get out of their car. If you are dropping off any medications, police ask to make sure the patient information is removed from the container. Syringes will not be accepted.
