Construction Begins on Seal Beach Chick-fil-A

The fast-food restaurant is expected to open its doors in the fall.

Why did the chicken cross Seal Beach Boulevard?

To get away from Chick-fil-A.

Construction crews are already at work at the Shops at Rossmoor, which means the much-anticipated opening of the city’s first Chick-fil-A is scheduled for this fall.

That’s right: the ultimate chicken joint will go head-to-head against the ultimate burger joint as Chick-fil-A and In-N-Out Burger square off across the parking lot.

According to a representative for the Shops at Rossmoor, the 4,529 square foot, freestanding restaurant will sit near Marie Callender’s and the old gas station and will feature a drive thru with indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Like all of their locations, the restaurant will be closed on Sundays.

To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will give away one weekly meal for a year to 100 qualifying participants. Fortunately, there is a hospital not too far down the street.
