I retired from the military after 40 years of duty which included two tours flying helicopters in Vietnam. Spent seven years on active duty with the US Army and 33 years full time with the Calif.National Guard.

My military specialty was as an ArmyAviator and I flew helicopters. Had over 1000 missions during my 24 months of combat and when I left flight status I logged over 6000 hours of which 1750  hours where combat flight hours.

I also spent 12+ years at the JFTB and commanded Los Alamitos Army Airfield for five years.
