I grew up in Las Vegas when there was still open desert along The Strip, graduated from UCLA, and worked in the application software world for about a dozen years. Since then I've co-founded an independent television production company, written screenplays (one produced) as well as short stories and a novel (still querying), and founded a "clean marine energy" company called Haveblue LLC.  
A firm believe that life does not exist east of the 405 freeway, I've lived in WLA and Santa Monica for over 30 years.  I sail out of UCLA's Marina Aquatic Center where I am a US Sailing certified small boat instructor. If I'm not in a sailboat, I'm in a small powerboat riding on herd on new sailors in the marina or on the bay.
