Erik Dreyer-Goldman became mesmerized with technology at an early age. He first started using Mainframe and Mini computers in the late 1970s. Growing up in Boston and later in California, Erik attended several colleges.

In the early 1980s it was very difficult to find mainstream information on computers. Erik wanted to share what he so painstakingly learned with others, so he started his first computer consulting firm.

Erik then went on to be the internal operations manager at the exclusive home improvement contractor for all 43 Broadway Department Stores in Southern California owned by Carter Hawley Hale.

He used his computer skills to make sure scheduling, production and day to day operations were efficient and on track. During this time, he developed both software and hardware design skills as well as a strong business foundation.

He has also done work with other large organizations such as Epson America.

Erik worked for Stars Behavioral Health Group for many years providing IT support to an organization of approximately 1000 users located throughout Northern and Southern California.

Erik has worked in and has gained experience in many areas of the computer industry over the years, including consulting, programming, sales, manufacturing, distribution, as well as support.

Erik is both Microsoft and CompTia A+ certified, and is sensitive to Confidentiality and HIPAA Security Standards.

Being in Seal Beach, CA and knowing the path of small business was for him, Erik opened up Ask Erik in late 2006.

He is offers worry-free IT services to qualified individuals and organizations. His "Ask Erik" column in the Seal Beach local paper – The Sun, aptly demonstrates his easy manner and clear explanations of computers and technology.

Erik just finished his elected term as President of the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Seal Beach LIONS Club. He improves many small businesses and the community at large. So the best thing to do when you have a computer concern is to simply - Ask Erik.
