I have resided in Rancho Santa Margarita since 1986.  My wife, Julie, and I enjoyed our first date here (a picnic at the lake) and we have raised our three children here in RSM. 
     I proudly serve as a Rancho Santa Margarita Council Member after serving the city as a Planning Commissioner for two years.    I have devoted over 15 years coaching and officiating youth sports here in Rancho Santa Margarita; specifically with Rancho Santa Margarita Little League, Tijeras Creek Little League, AYSO, Saddleback Valley YMCA, National Junior Basketball and SVUSD Recreation and Community Services.    I earned a BA degree from California State University, Fullerton, majoring in Geography with an emphasis on Land Use Analysis and Urban Development. I thereafter attended law school and graduated from Western State University College of Law in 1985.     I am a partner and a member of the Board of Directors of my law firm, having practiced law in Orange County since 1986.  I also serve as Pro Tem judge for the Superior Court for the County of Orange and as a court appointed Arbitrator/Mediator.
