Angela Atkinson is a reporter and social media miner for Patch. She's currently the acting local editor for Hazelwood Patch, but will resume her reporter duties when editor Candace Jarrett returns from maternity leave.
Her first non-fiction book, The Practical Freelance Writer's Guide to Author Websites, was released in September 2010. She writes an award-winning personal development blog called In Pursuit of Fulfillment, which focuses on living well and personal development. Along with fellow writer Alyssa Ast, Atkinson founded The WM Network. The WM Network currently includes The WM Freelance Connection, The WM Parenting Connection, The WM Pet Connection and The WM Review Connection. Atkinson studied journalism at Eastern Illinois University and has been a full-time freelance writer, editor and researcher since 2005.  She lives in St. Louis County with her husband and children.
