The picnic pavilion at the end of the greenbelt at Ocean Avenue often plays host to birthday parties and celebrations. The park benches that line the walkway are memorial benches complete with plaques honoring the memories of Seal Beach residents with unique personal messages. The northwest portion of the greenbelt is home to the Seal Beach Senior Center, the Mary Wilson Library and the Red Car Museum, complete with the kind of bright red cable car that once whizzed up and down Electric Avenue, giving it its current name.
