Seal Beach is a coastal North Orange County city bordering Los Angeles County. It is separated from Long Beach by theMore San Gabriel River, which crosses under Pacific Coast Highway. Tucked in the middle of a residential street on Ocean Boulevard across from the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station andMore Anaheim Bay,  Growing Tree Preschool is a two-tiered preschool aimed at socialization and academic enrichment. The school serves children from the age of two to kindergarten-aged children.  Parents have the option of enrolling their children in two separate programs. The first program focuses on socialization and early academics such as arts and crafts. The school also offers a transitional kindergarten program aimed at preparing children for first grade. The program has a more rigorously academic structure with children seated in desks and working with their teacher on the blackboard. The school has long been part of the community fabric with one teacher who has been teaching Seal Beach preschoolers for 27 years.
