The park also features an auditorium available for rent. Another unique feature of this park is its trail. Adjacent to the playground area is the trail with kiosks guiding visitors on everything from stretching and nutrition to tai chi for beginners. There is also built-in exercise equipment for upper and lower body workouts.

Rossmoor is an unincorporated island bordering the San Gabriel Freeway (605), Seal Beach and Los Alamitos. Under OrangeMore County's jurisdiction, Rossmoor does not have a city hall or a mayor. Rather, it has the Rossmoor Community Services District and General Manager Henry Taboada. Funded with property tax revenue, the district manages parks and facilities within the community of roughly 10,300 people. It also contracts for services such as street sweeping in Rossmoor. Served by a Board of Directors, the district is located at Rush Park. The district also serves as a liaison between residents and the county on issues ranging from traffic, wildlife,  sewer and police and fire services. The district's board of supervisors meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Rush Park Auditorium.
