At 1.7 acres, it is larger than most of the city's neighborhood parks, and it offers enough room for a soccer or baseball practice. It also features two picnic tables, some park benches and a playground with four slides, swings, monkey bars and a sand pit. The park backs up to the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Base, and it can be a great place to watch the military helicopters come and go. The park does include portable restroom unit.
