According to the very helpful City News Editor StevenRead More Herbert: Greg Mescall, the associate director of communications for USA Water Polo said it was proper to refer to U.S. men's water polo team as Los Alamitos based. Since Jovan Vavic became interim coach, the team has trained at the USA Water Polo National Training Center in Los Alamitos, CA and up at USC in Los Angeles, CA along with UC Irvine, Mescall said. The team previously trained at Cal Lutheran.
