Seal Beach Community Swimming Pools

The pool was built in 1964 and is 25 yards in length. It has six lanes open for lap swimming. Shallow and deep water aerobics are also offered. The water temperature is maintained at 80 degrees. There is an outdoor, warm-water shower; limited dressing rooms are available. The pool has been switched over to a salt system to sanitize the water, away from the old method that utilized liquid chlorine. Besides general recreation, swim tournaments, private parties and swim lessons occur here.
