Hi, I am Yellow Sun. I am about 8 years-old but could easily pass for 5. I was a Seal Beach stray brought to SBACC by a nice lady who had been feeding me for a while but thought I would be much safer here.
The inside of my mouth was in real bad shape when I arrived and everyone thought it was a wonder that I could eat because I had severe stomatitis (a painful inflammation of the gums and oral cavity). I also had decayed teeth and abscesses. I have since had oral surgery, and all my teeth have been pulled (they say this is the only treatment for this condition). My mouth is feeling great now. I have discovered that a cat does not need his teeth to eat, and I enjoy both my wet and dry food.

Despite all these problems, I am a friendly boy who enjoys petting and attention from the volunteers. I would love to have my own home and I get along just fine with other cats.
