A Princess With No Castle

This feline Princess will bring a touch of royalty to any home.

Editor’s Note:  The Cat of the Week feature is written and submitted by Gail Bowers, a volunteer at the Seal Beach Animal Care Center where the animals are available for adoption. The shelter is at 1700 Adolfo Lopez Drive, Seal Beach, (562) 430-4993.

Hi, I am Princess, and I am now about 9 months-old. When I was a little kitten, I was found in Leisure World along with my three littermates, and we all went into a foster home together. When we were about 3 months-old, we came back to the shelter, and all three of my siblings got adopted.

I am really friendly and playful. I know I would have been adopted too if it were not for my medical problem, which is a very bad case of gingivitis. I have been told that the only cure for it is to have all or most of my teeth extracted. This is really expensive, but my friends at SBACC are trying to raise some extra money for it, and it will be done pretty soon. Maybe you can help by donating some money to SBACC for my dental surgery?

Once that is over with, I hope someone will pick me to be his or her very own kitty. I will be happy to share a home with a feline friend or two.
