Wednesday Wave Check

Still pretty small!

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it's looking a lot like the last couple of days.  Yep, more minimal energy along this stretch of sand.  Meanwhile, farther south toward Huntington Beach, you'll definitely find more size.

The conditions are pretty clean from the start, but it looks like one of those days where the southerly winds could pick up at some point during the a.m hours.  As far as the surf goes ... we're seeing mainly small south-southwest swell in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods with some fast little lines, with a few workable ones on a log or maybe a fish.  Most Seal Beach spots are running about knee high, with the standout spots that pick up the most southerly energy seeing some thigh or maybe even waist high sets.

Taking a look at the tides: At 10:29 this morning, the tide climbs up to a 4.0 high and then drops to a 2.0 low at 3:08 this afternoon.  If you're going to get wet, throw on a 3/2 fullsuit for at least that morning session, with the water temp averaging between 60 and 62 degrees.  Good luck out there!!
