Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, you'll definitely want to get out a log or an SUP if you're going to grab a session in town. Yep, we're seeing more minimal surf along this stretch of sand, but like always if you don't mind doing a little driving down south...you can find some fun size energy!
The conditions are looking nice and glassy this morning and it looks like we're going to finally see some nice weather, so if nothing else get out there and go for a paddle. We've got the continued minimal mix of swells in the water. There's some leftover northwest swell and minor south southwest energy.
That recipe is giving us some crumbly and dumpy little lines, with a few workable ones on the small wave gear. Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to knee high, with the standout breaks pulling some thigh high waves, with maybe a few waist high sets.

Taking a look at the tides...at 10:54 later this morning it drops to a 1.0 low which will have some spots needing water mid to late morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.5 high at 5:50 this evening.
If you're planning on paddling, throw on a 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 61 degrees. Good luck out there!
