Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well it's looking similar to yesterday, but the good news...we're seeing much cleaner conditions.
Overall it's still pretty small and weak, so you'll have to do a little traveling down south if you're planning on riding any playful size waves. It's mostly clean early on, with some light offshore winds which are likely to pick up throughout the day.
We've got a mix of some fairly steep angled northwest swell and a little southwest energy in the water. That's providing some drained out little lines, with a few fun ones on a big board.

Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to knee high, with the focal points pulling an occasional thigh high plus set.
Taking a look a the tides...well there's not much change...at 7:21 this morning it drops to a 1.6 low and then climbs back up to a 2.7 high at 12:44 this afternoon.

If you're planning on paddling, a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties will do the job, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. See ya in the water!
