Wednesday Surf Report

Looking pretty tired.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, we're off to a slow start out there.  Yep, this stretch of coastline isn't seeing much in the way of waves, but down south you'll find more fun size surf on tap! The conditions are mostly clean early on, with a pretty small combination of energy in the water.  We're seeing some fading south southwest swell and smaller northwest wind and groundswell. That's offering some pretty gutless lines, with maybe a few decent ones on a log.  Most of Seal Beach is hanging in the knee high range, with the standout breaks pulling thigh high waves, with a few waist high sets. Taking a look at the tides...at 5:39 this morning it drained out to a 0.0 low which will have many spots needing water early to mid-morning.  The tide then pushes back up to a 3.4 high at 11:54 later this morning and then drops again to a 1.8 low at 4:49 this afternoon. If you're going to get wet, you can most likely pull-off wearing a 3/2 full-suit with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 59 degrees.  See ya in the water!
