Good Tuesday morning surf enthusiasts, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, this stretch of coastline is due for a jumpstart. Yep, we're looking at some minimal energy out there. So, do yourself a favor and do a little driving down south where there are plenty of playful size waves.
The conditions are looking pretty good early on, with a fairly glassy ocean surface. Taking a look at the waves...we're seeing a tiny mix of south southwest swell and a little northwest windswell in the water.
That recipe is offering this neck of the woods with some dumpy little lines, with a few that'll get you going on a log or if you're a mini-grom! Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle high, with the standout combo breaks pulling some knee high waves, with a few plus sets.

Checking the tides...at 10:03 later this morning it drains out to a 0.7 low which will have several spots in need of water and fairly inconsistent mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.2 high at 5:11 this evening.
If you're going to get wet, then I'd throw on a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 60 degrees. Good luck out there!
