Tuesday Surf Report

Conditions clean up, but it's barely breaking!

Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff, with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, the good news...we're starting off with some nice and clean conditions, the bad news...the waves are super small along this stretch of coastline.  So, do yourself a favor and get out of town and head down south where you'll find plenty of playful size waves.

We've got a very minimal combination of leftover and fading northwest windswell and some pretty minor south southwest energy in the water.  That recipe is offering this stretch of sand with some pretty weak little lines, with a few decent ones on a log or an SUP.

Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to knee high, with the standout combo breaks pulling an occasional thigh high wave.  Taking a look at the tides...

At 9:59 later this morning it drops to a 0.2 low which won't help out our cause due to the lack of swell in this neck of the woods.  So, many spots will be in need of water and really inconsistent mid-morning.  The tide eventually climbs up to a 4 foot high at 5:10 this evening.

If you're going to get wet, well the water temperature is feeling pretty comfortable out there, so throw on no more than a 3/2 fullsuit, with it averaging between 60 and 63 degrees.  Good luck out there!
