Tuesday Surf Report

Conditions cleanup, with a bit more size.

Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it has picked up a bit, but overall it's still on the small side.  We're seeing much cleaner conditions out there today which is making it much more inviting! We've got a minor mix of slowly building south southwest swell and hardly any northwest energy to speak of.  That's offering some drained out racy lines, with a few fun corners.  The small wave gear is probably the call! Most Seal Beach spots are running about knee to thigh high, with the breaks that have the most south facing exposure seeing waist high waves, with a couple plus sets.  Taking a look at those tides. At 4:58 early this morning it drained out to a negative 1.4 low which will have many spots lacking water early to mid-morning.  The tide then pushes back up to a 4.2 high at 11:17 later this morning and then drops again to a 1.3 low at 4:26 this afternoon. If you're going to get out there and grab a session, well that water temperature is warming up a little, so throw on no more than a 3/2 full-suit, with it averaging between 59 and 61 degrees.  See ya in the water!
