Good Thursday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's not looking like the most motivating day for a surf session! Yep, there's still very little swell in this neck of the woods and the conditions are starting off on the crummy side.
We're seeing some texture or bump on it from the start thanks to the variable wind. As far as the waves go...we have a tiny mixture of northwest energy and some south southwest swell in the water.
That recipe is providing this stretch of sand with some weak crumbly and textured lines, with maybe a few that'll get you going on a log or an SUP. Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to knee high, with the top combo breaks pulling maybe a few plus sets.

Taking a look at the tides...at 5:51 this morning the tide climbed up to a 3.3 high and then drops to a 1.3 low at 11:38 later this morning and then pushes up once again to a 4.7 high at 6:23 this evening.
If you're really in need of a salt water bath, then throw on a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temperature averaging between 61 and 63 degrees. Good luck out there!
