Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, it looks like there's not much happening along this stretch of sand. So, I suggest getting out of town and heading down south a bit towards Huntington where you'll find a few playful waves.
The conditions are mostly clean early on, with a mixture of super small energy in the water. We're seeing some remnant south swell and some minor northwest energy.
That recipe is offering some pretty weak lines, with maybe a few that'll get you going on a longboard of if you're a grom. Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle high, with the focal points pulling a few knee high sets.

Checking the tides...at 6:02 this morning it climbed up to a 4.5 high which will have some spots a little full early on. The tide then drops to a 0.0 low at 1:03 this afternoon.
If you're planning on paddling, throw on at least that 3/2 full-suit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. Good luck out there!

FYI: The County Health Department encourages surfers and swimmers to stay out of the ocean for at least 72 hours after a rain due to the possibility of elevated bacteria levels especially near river mouths, storm drains and harbor entrances.
