Monday Wave Check

It's barely breaking.

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, unfortunatetly there's not much in the way of wave activity out there.  Overall, it's super small and weak along this stretch of sand.  So, you'll definitely want to head down south towards Huntington where you'll find a few rideable waves.

The conditions are starting off mostly clean and glassy, with a very minor mix of remnant northwest swell and a hint of southwesterly energy in the water.

That recipe is providing some really gutless little lines, with maybe a few loggable ones.  Most breaks in Seal Beach are running about ankle high, with not much more than that.

At 5:40 this morning the tide pushed way up to a 5.5 high which will have some spots a bit full or even shut-off early on.  The tide then drains out to a negative 0.6 low at 1:07 this afternoon.

If you're really in need of a salt water bath...then throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees.  Good luck out there!!
