Monday Surf Report

Good day to get out of town.

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, if you have the time, do yourself a favor and do a little driving down south where you'll find plenty of playful size waves.  Unfortunately this stretch of sand is pretty blocked by the latest round of energy!

The good news: We're seeing some really nice and clean conditions early on, with a mixture of swells out there.  We're seeing some continued and easing south southwest swell and some minor west northwest and northwest energy.

That recipe is providing this neck of the woods with some weak little dribblers that might be fun for a longboard, but not much more than that!  Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to shin high, with the focal points pulling a few knee high sets.

At 10:59 later this morning the tide drops to a 0.3 low which will have some spots lacking water late morning.  The tide then climbs back up to a 3.4 high at 6:18 this evening.

If you're going to grab a session, throw on at least a 3/2 full-suit with the water temperature averaging between 57 and 59 degrees.  See ya in the water!!
