The U.S. men's national water polo team will face Argentina today at Northwood High School in its final exhibition game before beginning the UANA World Aquatics Championship Qualification Tournament Wednesday in Calgary, Alberta.
The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. The U.S. defeated Argentina, 16-6, Wednesday at USC.
The 13-member U.S. team includes four players from the team that finished eighth at the London Olympics, center Ryan Bailey, goalkeeper Chay Lapin, utility player Jeff Powers and defender Jesse Smith.
There are three Orange County residents on the team -- attackers Bret Bonanni (Huntington Beach) and Scott Davidson (Seal Beach) and goalkeeper Andy Stevens (Villa Park).
Bailey and Lapin (Long Beach) are among the four Los Angeles County residents on the team, joined by attacker Nikola Vavic (Rancho Palos Verdes) and center Jeff Schwimer (Beverly Hills).
