Registration for Coach Liz Connelly’s summer lacrosse camp for girls is now underway. The camp will take place from August 1-6 at Laurel High School, 10291 Bloomfield Street in Los Alamitos. Attendees will work on stick skills, shooting, passing, defensive/offensive strategies, speed, conditioning and footwork.
The varsity camp is by invitation only and will take place from 8 a.m. to noon while the JV camp is open to all players and will take place from 1-5 p.m.
In addition to returning players who will attend the camp, Coach Connelly is also hoping to attract several incoming freshmen girls who will help continue the lady Griffin’s dominance in lacrosse. The girls’ varsity team has recorded a 59-3 record over the past three seasons and won three straight CIF Southern Section Championships.
