Friday Wave Check

More micro energy!

Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it's looking like another day of micro energy along this stretch of sand.  So, you can either stay in town and ride the minimal stuff or head down south where there's definitely more sizeable surf.

The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with mainly a small amount of northwest windswell and not much south southeasterly energy out there.

That recipe is offering some soft sectiony lines, with a few fun ones on a log or a stand up paddleboard.  Most Seal Beach spots are seeing ankle to knee high waves, with the top breaks picking up a few waist high waves.

At 8:07 this morning the tide climbs up to a 3.9 high which will have some spots starting off a little inconistent early to mid-morning.  The tide then drops to a 1.0 low at 1:48 this afternoon.

If you're going to get wet, well that water temperature has cooled off a bit again, so you'll maybe want to wear that 4/3 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with it averaging between 57 and 58 degrees.  Good luck out there!
