Friday Surf Report

Looking very sleepy out there.

Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it's looking very sleepy out there in this neck of the woods.  Yep, we're seeing more super small energy along this stretch of sand, so like always...head down south where they're picking up plenty of playful size surf!

The conditions are starting off pretty clean and glassy.  As far as the surf goes...we're only getting a very minimal mixture of northwest swell and tiny south southwest energy along this part of the coast.

That recipe is offering some fast sectiony lines, with a few workable ones on the small wave gear.  Most Seal Beach spots are seeing ankle to knee high waves, with the standout breaks pulling a few thigh high plus sets.

At 6:59 this morning the tide pushed up to a 3.3 high and then drops to a 1.6 low at 12:18 this afternoon and then climbs up once again to a 5.0 high at 6:52 this evening.

If you're getting an early start to your holiday weekend and you're going to go for a paddle...throw on a 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 60 degrees.  Good luck out there!
