Social skills summer day camp for children with High Functioning Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD/ADD, anxiety disorders, and similar characteristics. Instructors Janie Nilsson and Kathie Mason, both credentialed teachers, will help campers set goals for themselves, learn the specific skills required for each activity, and participate in discussion groups. Campers will be interviewed by instructors upon registering to ensure behavioral safety criteria are met.
During this week, campers will visit the Science Center, drop an egg from 20’ without breaking it, design their own airplane and compete with friends, make Hot Ice and create their own “Mad Science” lunch!
Campers can register for the other two camps, (July 5 to 8) and (July 18 to 22); sign up for all three weeks and receive a discounted rate of $950.
