Interview with a Griffin: Varsity Football Player Richie Moline

The 17-year old Los Alamitos High School running back says he loves In-N-Out hamburgers and scoring touchdowns.

He could! Go! All! The! Way!

On the eve of the Los Alamitos High School vs. Fountain Valley High School, we continue our series of profiles on LAHS varsity football players.

Tonight's player?

Name: Richie Molina

Number: 24

Age: 17

Weight: 200

Height: 5 feet 11 inches (Height and weight stats from Maxpreps.com)

Favorite thing about football: "Probably scoring touchdowns and getting those big runs. (And) the crowd going crazy."

Favorite type of food: "In-N-Out Hamburger."

Favorite subject in school: "English. I like writing, reading."

What’s one of the challenges you faced over the past couple of years "Last year I didn’t play very much and that off season I didn’t work hard. And this year I just told myself I was going to work as hard as I possibly can ... and just worked my butt off.

Has it paid off? "Oh yeah. I’ve been doing pretty good at practice. I still haven’t improved everything yet, but I will on the first game."

Editor's note: This interview took place before the first day of school during a photoshoot of one of the last days of practice before class.

Anything else you want to say? We’re going to come out and play as hard as we can and hopefully win CIF. ... (But) Sunset League, first.

Are you kidding? Every heard of Freedom of speech? There should be more like him. This country isRead More going to hell in a handbag quite fast. We are ruining this country for our children and leaving the biggest mess ever... Kudos to Snowden..... You gave up everything to be honest and tell it like it is!!!

This man has a rare quality, courage. Unlike the fool in office and his minions. If you thinkRead More the Constitution is a joke, you see him as bad. If you want to be spied on by your own government, Snowden is bad. Courage is missing in the states. The military have it but not the majority of our mediocre citizens.
