The ladies are as good as gold.
The Los Alamitos-based U.S. Women’s Water Polo team took home their first gold medal, beating Spain in the finals of the London Olympics games.
The team won 8 to 5 at their Thursday morning match at about 1:28 Pacific Standard Time.
Smiling and cheering, the teammates hugged each other in the water after their victory.
