Parents, if your child’s behavior leaves you confused or frustrated, or if you feel your school is not providing what your child needs, this is the class for you. It will help you learn how to interpret your child’s behavior and give you information about the school system and how to help your child.
Class is led by Janie Nilsson and Kathie Mason, both certified credentialed teachers with many years of experience teaching students with Autism and Asperger’s/HFA. They have taught social skills groups within the school environment and are eager to reach out to children, adults and parents within the local community to learn more about autism.
