Star Party - Astronomy Night

Come join our group of dedicated volunteer astronomers as we share our powerful telescopes with the public. Early in the evening we will check out the craters on the first quarter moon. Later we’ll focus primarily on the best star clusters and nebulae the winter sky has to offer. Weather permitting we will have lots of astronomical fun!  These events are co-hosted by Bogart's Coffee House, www.bogartscoffee.com  our favorite purveyor of hot drinks and goodies to keep you warm while you are waiting for your turn at the eyepiece.

If you have a telescope, feel free to bring it out to the star party. You don’t have to be an expert and it's fun to share anything you know with someone else. The star parties are great for kids of all ages and best of all provide serious entertainment at an unbeatable price. (Free, that is!)
