Readers' Choice: Nominate the Best Place for Children's Parties

What is your favorite spot to host a child's birthday party?

Editor’s Note: The nomination period is closed as of July 9. The voting period will begin next week.

I’ll never forget my first-grade birthday party.

It was at Skate Way. About 30 6-year-olds skated enthusiastically in circles while Michael Jackson’s album “Thriller” blared down from the loudspeakers. I received a Strawberry Shortcake dish-set that day and a pair of Incredible Hunk roller-skates.

Memories from children’s birthday parties can last a lifetime. Some such as the breakfast with the Disney Princesses at Disneyland can be costly, but they are also unlikely to ever be forgotten. And some of the most fun need little more than a cake, some candles, and paper birthday hats.

Patch wants to know the best place in the region for children’s birthday parties whether it’s a theme park or a simple neighborhood gathering spot. We’re looking for your nominations for the best the town has to offer through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed, and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included.

So where is the best place around to host a children’s party?

Thanks in advance for your participation.
