Los Al Schools are Special

Los Alamitos, Seal Beach and Rossmoor are all wonderful and unique communities. They are all part of the LOS AL UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. 

Our family (as with many) moved here for the schools and community. I have been active in supporting the community in many ways over the last 20 years.  The last five years have really focused on our school district.

There are two primary reasons I am so involved now. The school district was very good to my family — both of my sons had great experiences and have gone on to be well-educated contributors to society. I am also a local real estate broker who meets families every day who would love to purchase a home here to get their children in our schools. For those reasons, it’s important to me to do what I can to support the district and all the schools.

I am currently the president of our Educational Foundation. I plan on using this blog to share some of the wonderful things that go on in schools and be a conduit to the community for that information.

Great News: was named a 2012 California Distinguished School. They won for their innovative education programs that helped close the achievement gap. California Distinguished schools agree to share their signature practices with other schools and serve as mentors. Go Knights!!!!!
