On Monday night, a very hard working and well-deserving group of young women were honored at the Los Al City Council meeting: Los Al Cheer.
The Cheer team won a National Championship. They have now been honored by our school district, the city of Los Alamitos, and City of Seal Beach for this impressive accomplishment.
The Cheer team has a very busy schedule all year long. They compete at a very high level and have the responsibility of supporting Los Al and its activities and athletics.

This group of young women (seven of who are seniors) are also high achievers in the classroom, with a collective GPA of 3.5. In fact, two members of the team weren’t at the City Council meeting because they were preparing for AP testing.
This is the high level of achievement and dedication our students demonstrate regularly at Los Al.
