I really like when I get to spread good news about our schools and students.

Good News for Los Al Schools and its students

 

The District’s API score rose to 919, well over the state goal of 800.  There were also two schools and grades that got 100% proficiency or advanced on the CST: 4th grade Mathematics at Hopkinson and 7th Grade writing at Oak.

Marching Band – Ranked number ONE in the State – They outscored 19 bands to win the Mission Viejo WBA Competition.

Rowing – even though Los Al doesn’t have a rowing club we do have students that compete from Los Al, my niece is one of them.  Two of our Los Al rowers came in 4th out of 85 boats from all around the world in the Head of the Charles Regatta. Shelby Edmondson and Brianna Wynne are both Los Al students.
