Workshop to Address Eucalyptus Study

The city's arborist study evaluated 58 eucalyptus trees located at the intersection of Lampson Avenue and Seal Beach Boulevard.

Seal Beach will host a workshop next week to discuss a recently completed arborist study into an existing grove of eucalyptus trees, city officials announced in a news release.

The study by a licensed arborist evaluated the 58 eucalyptus trees located near the intersection of Lampson Avenue and Seal Beach Boulevard. The study looked into the overall health and viability of the trees, plus pest/disease conditions and offered recommendations for the rehabilitation, as well as removal and replacement of some of the trees, the news release said.

At the workshop city officials will share the results of the arborist's report and explain the city’s plans on how the trees will be managed.
