  • Median barrier removal in the center of the 405 will resume this week. Night work may be disruptive to the neighboring community due to equipment noise and back-up alarms.
  • The Northbound 405 / westbound 22 / 7th Street Connector will close for 12 months beginning on Monday, April 18 at 10 p.m.  The connector will remain closed until April 2012.
  • The City of Long Beach has begun implementing Studebaker Road, Palo Verde Avenue and other mitigation measures in preparation of the upcoming northbound 405 / westbound SR-22 / 7th Street connector closure.  Signals along the 7th Street detour routes will be modified to facilitate optimal traffic flow.
  • Vegetation removal is postponed along the 405 / 605 interchange and adjacent to the community of Rossmoor.  Removal activities will resume sometime in the next few weeks.  Night work may be disruptive to the neighboring community due to equipment noise and back-up alarms.
