Seal Beach Nets New Deputy Public Works Director
Luis Estevez has worked as Lake Forest Public Works Manager for the past five and a half years and lives in Placentia with his wife and daughter.
He's the guy who'll handle any gripes about Seal Beach pipes.
Luis Estevez was named the Deputy Director of Public Works/Maintenance and Utilities for Seal Beach, officials announced today.
According to City staff, Estevez will supervise the maintenance division of the Public Works Department, manage the water and sewer systems, oversee the maintenance of City property and facilities and support local events.

"I am excited to work in a community known as Orange County’s best kept secret,” Estevez said in a written statement. “My focus will be on customer service and ensuring the Public Works Department continues providing high-quality maintenance services that make Seal Beach such an attractive place to live, work and play.”
Estevez has fifteen years of local government experience, and for the past five and half years, he has worked for the City of Lake Forest as the City’s Public Works Manager.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science/public administration and a master’s degree in public administration. Estevez lives in Placentia with his wife and daughter and enjoys camping, fishing, and weightlifting.
Estevez will begin his new duties Nov. 12.
