President to Fly Into LAX Today

If you are headed into LA, keep your eyes peeled for Air Force One, or the presidential motorcade along with some traffic delays.

If you are heading into Los Angeles and notice a motorcade or unusual delays, that’s because a little someone known as the leader of the free world is scheduled to fly into LAX today.

President Barack Obama will arrive at LAX in the middle of Monday afternoon's rush hours. A Los Angeles city councilman has urged the Secret Service to avoid tying up traffic in parts of Los Angeles as the president motorcades through places in Hancock Park, the Cahuenga Pass and the Burbank on his way to the Jay Leno show at the NBC studios. Additionally, airborne traffic reporters will be grounded.

During a previous visit, White House officials took some heat after the resident’s motorcade halted traffic on the San Diego (405) Freeway.
