Parts of North, South 405 Freeway Closed Sunday

No closures scheduled for Saturday, but they'll return Sunday night, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority.

Before you head out to do any holiday shopping, you might want to check below to see what freeways ramps, lanes and connectors will be off-limits.

Seal Beach Boulevard Closed between Old Ranch Parkway and North Gate Road

  1. Closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday night, December 9

Full Freeway Closures  

Portions of the I-405 freeway will be closed between Valley View Street and Studebaker Road. Specific dates and times are listed below.

  1. Northbound I-405 Freeway between Valley View Street and Seal Beach Boulevard
    • Closed from 11:59 p.m. Sunday, December 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, December 10
  2. Southbound I-405 Freeway from Studebaker Road to Bolsa Chica Road
    • Closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday night, December 9

Connector Closures      The following local freeway connectorswill be closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. See below for specific dates.

  1. Southbound I-605 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway 
    • Closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday night, December 9   
       
  2. Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway 
    • Closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday night, December 9
       
  3. Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway  
    • Closed from 11 p.m. Sunday, December 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, December 10
        
  4. Southbound I-405 / Southbound I-605 Connectors to Westbound SR-22 / 7th Street
    • Closed from 11 p.m. Sunday, December 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, December 11

 Ramp Closures

  1. Eastbound SR-22 Studebaker Road On-Ramp 
    • Closed from 10 p.m. Sunday, December 9 to 5 a.m. Monday, December 10
