Members and guests of the Los Alamitos Senior Club were recently treated to the musical stylings of Bruce Pulcini, who traveled through time to deliver the songs of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis and others.

In fact, one listener was so enthralled that they jumped up to sing a Johnny Cash tune!

The Los Alamitos Senior Club meets every Thursday from 10 a.m.–3:15 p.m., offering members and guests a chance to meet new friends, develop new interests and socialize with peers.

Club activities include crafts, bingo, cards, table games, luncheons, guest speakers, live entertainment, holiday and birthday celebrations, charity projects, and volunteer opportunities.

Guests may join the group for two meetings. Club membership costs $10 a year per person and brings with it monthly newsletters and other benefits throughout the year, said Anna Otto, recreation assistant with the City of Los Alamitos.

The clubs' weekly meeting are held at the Community Center at 10911 Oak St.
