Freeway Closures Tonight Through Saturday
Parts of the 405, 605 and 22 Freeways will be offline nightly, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority.

1. Northbound I-405 Freeway between Valley View Street and Seal Beach Boulevard
Closed nightly between 11:59 p.m. and 5 a.m., Monday night, November 26 through Saturday night, December 1
- I. DETOUR: From the northbound I-405 exit Valley View Street (turn left on Garden Grove Boulevard), turn left on Valley View Street, turn right on Westminster Avenue and continue west, then turn right on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 on-ramp or the northbound I-405 on-ramp OR continue north on Studebaker Road, then turn right on Willow Street to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
- II. DETOUR: From the westbound SR-22 exit Valley View Street and turn left, turn right on Westminster Avenue and continue west, then turn right on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 on-ramp or the northbound I-405 on-ramp OR continue north on Studebaker Road, then turn right on Willow Street to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
2. Southbound I-405 Freeway from Studebaker Road to Bolsa Chica Road
o Closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., Monday night, November 26 through Saturday night, December 1
- I. DETOUR: From the southbound I-405 exit Studebaker Road and turn right, turn left on East 2nd Street (becomes Westminster Avenue), proceed east on Westminster Avenue to access the southbound I-405 onramp OR turn left on Bolsa Chica Road, then turn right on Garden Grove Boulevard to access the eastbound SR-22 on-ramp
3. Westbound SR-22 Freeway at Knott Street
o Closed nightly between 11:59 p.m. and 5 a.m., Monday night, November 26 through Saturday night, December 1
- I. DETOUR: From the westbound SR-22 exit Knott Street, turn left on Garden Grove Boulevard, turn left on Bolsa Chica Road, turn right on Westminster Avenue and proceed west, then turn right on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 on-ramp or continue north on Studebaker Road to access the northbound I-405 on-ramp
Connector Closures
The following local freeway connectors will be closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., unless otherwise stated.
1. Northbound I-405 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway
o Closed nightly Monday, November 26 through Thursday night, November 29
- I. DETOUR: From the northbound I-405 exit Valley View Street (turn left on Garden Grove Boulevard), turn right on Valley View Street and continue north, then turn left on Katella Avenue to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
2. Southbound I-605 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway
o Closed nightly Monday, November 26 through Thursday night, November 29
- I. DETOUR: From the southbound I-605 exit Katella Avenue and turn right, turn right on Valley View Street (becomes Bolsa Chica Road), continue south on Bolsa Chica Road to access the southbound I-405 on-ramp
3. Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway
o Closed nightly Monday, November 26 through Thursday night, November 29
- I. DETOUR: From the eastbound SR-22 / 7th Street, exit Studebaker Road and turn left, turn left on East 2nd Street (becomes Westminster Avenue), proceed east on Westminster Avenue to access the southbound I-405 on-ramp
4. Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway
o Closed nightly Monday, November 26 through Thursday night, November 29
- I. DETOUR: From the eastbound SR-22 exit Studebaker Road and turn right, continue north on Studebaker Road, then turn right on Willow Street to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
5. Southbound I-405 / Southbound I-605 Connectors to Westbound SR-22 / 7th Street
o Closed nightly Monday, November 26 through Thursday night, November 29
- I. DETOUR: From the southbound I-405 exit Studebaker Road and turn right, continue south on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 / 7th Street on-ramp
- II. DETOUR: From the southbound I-605 exit Willow Street and turn right, turn left on Studebaker Road and proceed south to access the westbound SR-22 / 7th Street on-ramp
Ramp Closures
The following local freeway on- and off-ramps will be closed nightly between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., unless otherwise stated.
1. Eastbound SR-22 Studebaker Road On-Ramp
o Closed nightly Monday, November 26 through Thursday night, November 29
- I. DETOUR: Studebaker Road continue south, turn left on East 2nd Street (becomes Westminster Avenue), continue east on Westminster Avenue, turn left on Bolsa Chica Road, then turn left on Garden Grove Boulevard to access the eastbound SR-22 on-ramp
2. Westbound SR-22 Valley View Street On-Ramps
o Closed nightly Monday, November 26 through Saturday night, December 1
- I. DETOUR: From Valley View Street / Bolsa Chica Road proceed south, turn right on Westminster Avenue, then turn right on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 / 7th Street on-ramp
