Two Seal Beach City Council incumbents will be unopposed in the upcoming election.

Four people filed paperwork to run for the two open seats on the Los Alamitos City Council before the Friday deadline, according to the city clerk's office.
The potential candidates are (in alphabetical order) Demi Devaney, Dean Grose, Richard Murphy and incumbent Ken Stephens.

According to the city clerks office, incumbent Marilynn Poe did not file paperwork to run for reelection.
In Seal Beach, the two incumbents are running uncontested.

The only people to pull and file papers to run are incumbents David Sloan and Gary Miller for City Council and Linda Devine for city clerk.
In Seal Beach, council-members are elected by residents in the district they serve. In Seal Beach, the seats held by Miller in the College Park East district and Sloan in College Park West and parts of Leisure World are open.
