Don't Be An April Fool: Check Our Freeway Closure List Before Driving
Parts of the 405 Freeway will close nightly each weekday this week. Some ramps and connectors will be offline, too.
Unfortunately, this isn’t an April Fool’s prank: parts of your most-used freeways, ramps and connectors will shut down nightly Monday through Friday this week.
Also, please note, while there is no daytime closure scheduled for the 7th Street/eastbound 22 Freeway Connector to the northbound 605 Freeway on April 1, there may be on-and off closures throughout the week.
The Orange County Transportation Authority, which provided the closure information, advises drivers to check this map to get updates on that connector and other closures.

FREEWAY CLOSURES
Northbound I-405 Freeway Closed at Valley View St.
Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Monday through Saturday.

From NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (left on Garden Grove Blvd.), left on Valley View St.
Right on Westminster Ave.
Right on Studebaker Rd. to access WB SR-22 / 7th St. or NB I-405 on-ramp
DETOUR II:
From NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (left on Garden Grove Blvd.), right on Valley View St.
Left on Katella Ave. to access NB I-605 on-ramp
Southbound I-405 Freeway Closed from Studebaker Rd. to Seal Beach Blvd.
Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Monday through Friday.
DETOUR:
From SB I-405 exit Studebaker Rd., turn right
Left on E. 2nd St. (becomes Westminster Ave.)
Continue on Westminster Ave. to access SB I-405 on-ramp OR to access EB SR-22 on-ramp turn left on Bolsa Chica Rd.
Right on Garden Grove Blvd.
CONNECTOR CLOSURES
Northbound I-405 Connector to Northbound I-405
Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Tuesday through Friday.

From NB I-405 exit Valley View St. (left on Garden Grove Blvd.), right on Valley View St.
Left on Katella Ave. to access NB I-605 on-ramp
7th St. / Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway Closed
Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Monday through Friday.

From 7th St. / EB SR-22, exit Studebaker Rd., turn right
Right on Willow St. to access NB I-605 freeway on-ramp.
7th St. / Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Southbound I-405 Freeway Closed
Closed 11 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Monday through Friday.

From 7th St. / EB SR-22 exit Studebaker Rd. and turn left

From Seal Beach Blvd. (south of I-405) proceed south to Westminster Ave., turn left
Continue on Westminster Ave. to access SB I-405 freeway on-ramp -OR-
From Seal Beach Blvd. (north of I-405), proceed north on Seal Beach Blvd./Los Alamitos Blvd., turn right on Katella Ave., and turn right on Valley View Street to access SB I-405 freeway on-ramp
Northbound I-405 Off-Ramp Closed at Valley View St.
Closed 10 PM to 5 AM, nightly, Monday through Friday.
DETOUR I:
