I first moved to Los Alamitos in1964. I lived here until 1977, returned several times, and have been back permanently since 1997. My financial background provides a unique and practical perspective on managing budgets and city finances. When elected I will work to insure that the interests of all residents and business owners are first priority in all decisions and that our tax dollars are spent wisely.

I have been an active participant in the city government for about 5 years and am a recent Traffic Commission appointee. I feel that working to solve our traffic problems is a top priority.

I desire to strengthen the practices that have brought our City stability in the areas of finance and public safety. A strong police force and a balanced budget are very important to me.

I seek your vote because it is important that we have a strong independent voice to represent the residents of Los Alamitos.

I ask for your vote

Richard Murphy
